Tell me your favorite! Yo...

Mirror Mirror On The Wall

Three way mirrors and a fitting room. YIKES! Those blasted mirrors tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. It's not often that I am treated to viewing my reflection from all sides at once. It's an enlightening experience to say the least. I really appreciate the fact that I don't have one of these three headed monsters at home. Pheww! The next time you encounter one of these beasts, remember this:

  • DO: acknowledge the im...

If you are able to read this, consider yourself lucky! The latest reminder that we are only human via Mother Nature named Sandy has effected many of us in many ways. Hopefully you are safe, maybe in the dark and cold and logged out from the rest of the world...but safe!

My home is without power, but we do have HOT WATER! Showering in hot water has never been such a pleasure!  My two high schoolers were celebrating that school has been clos...

Make working out a CHOICE not a chore! Thinking about any activity as if it were a chore will leave you feeling unmotivated. DON'T think..."I have to get a manicure" or "I have to meet friends for dinner". Change that negative inner dialogue from having to choosing to do!  Don't lump the enjoyable activities in your life into the category of stuff that you are obligated to endure. You CHOOSE to do or not to do something with every decision that you m...
