Thank you for visiting my page. You are here because we have something in common...Zumba Fitness®! I am a Maplewood resident, mother of two young adults, and a Brooklyn transplant. Although I was a bit of a tomboy growing up (still am), I never participated in sports because I was deathly shy and afraid that I would injure myself. Look at me now!
I've worn many hats over the years and continuing to be able bodied and taking on the role of instructor has been one of the most gratifying. I hold a Certification in Group Exercise (CGEI), licensed to teach multiple Zumba formats, Certified to instruct POUND Fitness, and Barre Blend. I am also Certified in Adult & Pediatric CPR. I continue my education in fitness training to bring the best quality of instruction and safety to my classes.
If you think you have two left feet, here is your chance to fake a Salsa like no tomorrow! Here's a little secret...Zumba is a practice! Like most things in life, the more often you show up, the more you will get out of it. Come for the workout and I guarantee that you will stay for the laughter and camaraderie. It is fun and effective for beginners, athletes, and every BODY in between. Have you heard that SWEATY is the new SEXY? Are you ready to sweat?

🎶 Expect to have fun! The moment you walk through the door it feels like a party! There's no need to be shy when you enter Zumba class. The music and energy create a vibe that you will not find at other group fitness classes. Hooting and hollering are always allowed! My Zumba class is a judgement free zone!
🎶 You do not have to know how to dance! You will not know all of the moves at your first Zumba class. Nobody does! The more often you attend, the quicker you will pick up the steps. Zumba is a practice just like anything else you do on a regular basis. Repetition is a key element in the Zumba formula. When all else fails...FREESTYLE! Focus on how the music makes you feel and have fun with it.
🎶 Move Like Everybody’s Watching! Participants are in class to have fun, relieve stress and let it all hang out. It doesn’t matter what you look like. Think of it as an opportunity for self-expression, freedom, and trying out some new footwork.
🎶 Sweat happens! Zumba is a fitness class based around dance styles from all over the globe. You will burn an estimated 500 to 1000 calories at an hour long class. Remember, Sweaty is the new Sexy!
